I had a really interesting week. Nothing super juicy. But interesting nonetheless. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much I should go into here. It involves someone I would like to think of as a friend who is getting divorced. I'm not sure what her comfort level would be knowing I'm talking about her in a public way. Anyway, we hung out with some other friends I hadn't seen in more than a year. It was a little bit weird because I went with her and they all know Mrs (not closely). But it was great seeing them all.

I have a job interview Monday morning. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I've been wrestling with the whole job thing for the last few years. For those who haven't followed this blog or who don't have the energy (or desire.. it's ok.. you can say it) to wade through the dregs of my archives, my job has been a weird rollercoaster of emotions. To summarize, I was reorganized a couple of times. I've had two different bosses in the last 3 years. The first was a yes man close to retirement just trying to keep his head down for the last couple of years before he retires. During this time, we had this bizarre dotted line to the man we've all come to call "He who shall not be named" (HWSNBN). As best I can tell, his method of leadership is chaos. And he's an asshole. I don't say that about a lot of people. But this guy was 100% pure asshole. He would have these crazy ideas that wouldn't be practical or even doable in our environment, then if you ever once challenged him, he would try to get you fired (the whole dotted line thing prevented him from just doing it). The man would hold a grudge and would use EVERY opportunity to push that grudge button. It got to the point where every single thing we did to our systems had to go through committees and required debate. And I'm talking even mundane things like applying patches to an OS. To say he made our life hell is an enormous understatement. My first boss was basically non-existent. If you ever had to butt heads with HWSNBN, you would not get backup from him. In fact, one of our guys got written up over something that was complete bullshit and our boss never once tried to defend him.

Cut to a year later, we had new management, the dotted line was still there but it was now UNDER the new management. Life was hell for a couple of months while HWSNBN took advantage of their ignorance and tried to blitzkrieg us all out. Finally, mgt realized he was nuts and had nothing good to contribute and pushed him way off to the side. I got reorged again with a new manager (one of my peers). He's a great guy. We have been rolling with good work and getting things accomplished that could never have gotten done while HWSNBN was around.

Then the honeymoon ended. Management has some really good ideas. BIG ideas. Multimillion dollar ideas. They get money. Then, to all of our horror, THEY started making decisions without any input from the technical people. OR, when they do solicit input, if our input differs from theirs, they simply ignore it. With disastrous results. Decision making has become very top down. Now I don't claim that the technical people will always have the best global picture in mind. But there is NO cooperation between mgt and us. When we moved ahead with a mgt picked item (to the tune of $5+million), it has been nothing but trouble. It breaks all the time. The company support (this is a top company in this field btw) is without a doubt, the worst I've ever experienced. They don't respond in a timely manner. It has taken us days to get repair parts for mission critical systems. It has been a flop.

Which brings me to now. I am specifically involved in a very common ISP type service. We have run our system for about 9 years. It works well. It requires little maintenance. It is open source and therefore does not require massive license fees. Best of all, I rarely have to touch it. For about 9k accounts (not massive), I spend an average of 8 hours a month managing it (I'm conservative, I think it's more like 2 hours). Management, has decided we're going to completely replace the system (without ANY input from the technical people), with the single worst system I could possibly imagine. It is extremely popular due to the massive marketing machine behind it. It is also EXTREMELY expensive. We're estimating several million vs. $100k once every couple of years. It is also very hands on from a system administrator's point of view. Lastly, it is WAY outside of the realm of anything my team has expertise to handle, or desire to handle. When mgt first started toying with the idea of doing this, they pushed my team to take lead on it. Reluctantly, we met with consultants and sales people. We spent the whole week lost, and in a combative situation with the consultants. Our beliefs and best practices are in direct conflict with the way this system works. In the end, the consultants pushed management to find a better team. When they looked to a more appropriate group of people, THEY started quitting en masse.

Lastly, (this isn't a bad thing per se) mgt thinks of our team as "rock stars". We have been getting a lot of good things done with HWSNBN out of the way. The downside to this is, they are dumping more and more on our plate. My team now supports around 180 different servers all running different applications. The disturbing trend now, is to pull support away from other groups and give it to us. On one hand, this obviously means they trust us to get the job done. On the other hand, it means we all have more and more to do without any new resources. I had a discussion with my boss about the fact that we have tripled our 24/7 mission critical systems and it will soon put too much strain on our on-call structure. He agreed and said "Our structure will soon go out the window. Each person will be responsible for a group of things and will have to handle it 24/7 365". I was floored. Years ago, we had the same situation. One of my good friends supported many different systems with many different customers. In a few cases, different divisions of our company. They put so much pressure on him, eventually he had a heart attack. His Dr told him it was 100% stress related and he needed to do something. He resigned the day after he got out of the hospital. I took over for him and was in the very same situation for 2 years before we started to restructure things so that people weren't being so pressured. Now, here we are doing it again. When I tried to discuss my concerns with my boss he said "I've been doing this for years now and it's not a problem for me". I've been doing it for 15, I watched my friends melt down, I could care less what he does now. It is not for me. I don't mind pulling my weight when it's my turn. But I will not give up my life for work.

So here I am with a job interview on monday. I have come to realize I am institutionalized. I will have a job here for as long as I want. I make on the top end of the pay scale for this area. My salary requirements listed on my monster account are less than a 2% increase over what I make now. The guy I talked to at the new company is balking at that figure. I know if I get an offer it will be less than that. Which means equal pay or less than what I make now. But I find the thought of leaving the security of a guaranteed job, one that I know, one that I have known for 15 years, somewhat terrifying. I think, "what if I won't know enough to handle the job?" "What if I hate the people?" "What if I get downsized?" I think the job would be a good opportunity. It will be for a defense contractor. It will require I get clearance (which has a certain cool factor to it). The work will have a definite impact on our armed servicemen putting their lives on the line for me. What greater honor can one have than to serve your country by helping the soldiers in any way you can? But I'm still terrified of the interview. I have seriously debated calling to cancel. How fucked up is that?

Really, my only beefs with my company now are a) no feeling of empowerment b) the possibility of having to support a system I hate... no loathe... no despise.. you get the idea, without any sayso (as in I accept or quit) c) 24/7x265 on-call for mission critical high pressure stuff d) a boss with blind ambition who martyrs himself so he can always "be better" than his employees.

There is NO guarantee it wouldn't be any better in the new company. I'm SO confused!!

I had a bizarre sexual dream last night. It was only a snippet of a sexual encounter. But it was so weird I woke up laughing. I'll share. But first a quick background.

I honestly don't remember when the last time Mrs and I had sex was. It's not that it has been so horribly long. But more that it just wasn't that memorable. It may have been Fri night. It may have been 3 weeks ago. So last night, I was lying in bed wide awake with Mrs snoring next to me. I started thinking about various things sexually. Things I've done. Things I want to do. Things I may do. I got a raging boner. There I was with sizeable wood and Mrs snoring. I obviously wasn't going to get any. So I crept out of bed to our bathroom, wood bouncing in the breeze so to speak and I took care of business.

Now, I don't know if I'm the only guy to experience this. If I'm not I wonder if there's a name for it (anyone? Beuller?). Anyway, if you use toilet tissue to clean yourself, and there's just the right amount of cum (not too much and not too little, I have never measured the exact amount), the tissue will form a sort of paper machet epoxy and will glue itself to your cock. Which happened to me last night. A little careful picking with fingernails usually takes care of it.

So back to my dream. I dreamt I woke up in the middle of the night with Mrs playing with my cock. I was in a room I didn't recognize. But clearly we had slept there. She was laying between my legs playing with my cock which at this point was rock hard. As I "woke up" I remembered I had beat off earlier and thought there might be some remnants of tissue still sticking to the boy. About the time this was going through my mind, Mrs stood my cock up and was about to lower her mouth on to it. I was horrified to think that Mrs may notice bits of tissue and know that I had masturbated (not that I really care, but that she might get mad that I didn't wake her... at least this was the dream logic). So I grabbed my cock and pulled it away from her mouth. Now, you have to picture this, she was lowering her mouth onto my cock, so when I grabbed it, the tip kinda hung in her mouth for a second then.... flicked out. Which caused us both to burst into laughter. As that was so funny, I grabbed my cock again and flicked it upward to smack her on the nose with it. Which caused uproarious laughter. At which point I woke up giggling.

Do I have the wierdest dreams or what?

Lately, I have found it an incredible turn on to fuck. Nothing more. Nothing less. Yeah sure it's always good to have something leading up to it. But since Mrs rarely lets me indulge in my favorite activity, my sexual tastes have switched from spending hours lavishing a pussy with my tongue to fucking. There's something about sliding my cock in and out methodically, almost like a machine. Feeling the warmth as I bury myself deep inside, then the cool air as I pull almost completely out. Arching my back, then thrusting my hips forward so that my body remains still while my cock does it's job. I can almost feel her pussy slide closed around the head as it almost slips completely out, then open to envelope it as I push back inside. Every inch of my cock revels in the silky warmth of her pussy sliding, enveloping, squeezing. Over and over. Not too fast or too slow. Rythmically, methodically, with control. She grabs my hips to make me speed up. I remain steady, resisting her. She digs her heels into my ass as if she were spurring. Again, I move like a machine. In and out.

I turn 38 today. Woohoo and stuff.

My day had such great potential. I'm not huge on birthdays. Especially mine. I'm one of those curmudgeons who really hate it when people make a big deal about my birthday. Personally I find the celebration of being a year closer to one's death depressing as hell (I wonder at what point my outlook turned to the half empty variety??? possibly my 30th birthday... hmmm). Anyway, I had an incredibly erotic dream about an old roomate. In real life, one night she and I had one of those movie moments where we had gotten drunk and busted out every 80's CD I had. We ended up on the couch and had one of those dreamy (perhaps alcoholic fog is more appropriate) moments where you are about to kiss when the phone rang. I made the tremendous mistake of answering it. It was the ex from the last post. She and I had broken up one of the many times we did. She called to "make up". The moment with the roomate was forever gone. Like I said, classic movie moment. Anyway, she was in the dream doing really erotic things to me. I had every intention of going over it blow by blow (so to speak) in this post. Then Mrs woke me up 30 minutes early to find out when I wanted to wake up. WTF kind of logic is that? Then I discovered I had no clean clothes. I went to toss a pair of pants in the washer on the short cycle and found that Mrs decided to get up and wash one of a hundred piles of clothes she has (of delicate reds). Nothing I could put my khakis in with. And she seems to have a perpetual line of clothes to be washed. Me, once a week I do laundry and I'm good to go for a week. Her, the piles of clothes never end. Anyway, SOOO... I'm wearing slightly worn pants today. Then I dropped C off at school. We've been having a lot of problems with her getting out of control emotionally at school. We talked the whole way in. She was in a good mood. We cracked jokes. The second she set foot in the school she started. Whining. Whining about not knowing where her jacket belongs (she hangs it up every day). Saying she was too scared to go in her class. Holding my leg. Every indicator that she is well on her way to having a bad day. I pulled her out in the hallway and had a talk with her then sent her back in. Immediately, she started up again. So I had to pull her back out into the hall AGAIN. That's two talks before she even started her day (or mine).

I'm compiling a list of birthday things that would make my day much better.

1) No surprise parties (I hate... hate... hate them)
2) A birthday blowjob... bonus if it were a reader or the ex-roomate from my dream
3) getting laid
4) hitting the lottery
5) making it through the day without any more drama

What do we think the odds of any of the above happening? I think #1 is my safest bet.

I put one quarter in the vending machine while eyeballing the overpriced bag of chips to suppliment my measley little sandwich. As I slid the second quarter in the slot, I looked to my left and for a split second froze. I looked into the spitting image of an ex. Almost as quickly as my heart skipped the beat, I realized it wasn't her. I fumbled with the door of the machine to get my chips and quickly left. My head swam and my heart pounded the whole trip from the vending area back to my cubicle. I sat at my desk for a good 10 or 15 minutes wondering what the fuck that was?!? I hadn't seen my ex in years. Since before Mrs and I started dating (obviously). We're talking years. I realized, I never really got over her. Which is crazy because we had a relationship of extremes.. and not in a healthy way. One minute we were fucking like a couple of teenagers and the next we would be in a shouting match over something so incredibly stupid. We dated for a couple of years and I finally realized she wasn't seriously interested in a future. She treated me like shit. She'd go days where she wouldn't answer my calls or return them. She never let me go anywhere near her parents. Ultimately, she was all about the money. She had someone in her sights who made way more than I did. She pretty much told me she saw him as a meal ticket. The funny thing is, I found out much later he lost the job that made him all that money and I got promoted to within $2k of where he was. Oh the irony. Finally, one day I had enough. I told her I never wanted to see her again. And that was it.

So why is it, anytime I see someone fitting her description my heart always stops for a second, I get that... feeling in my stomach, and I always feel a sense of melancholy when it isn't her. Is it a sense of rejection or pride? I've been dumped by far better people who I fell for more completely than her.

The only thing I can think of, is that she was one of the best fucks I've ever had. Not that we did anything particularly kinky or crazy. I think the most adventurous we ever got was fucking in her mini-van in a parking garage downtown during lunch. It was that every time, almost wthout fail, when we had sex it was like we had to completely consume each other. I'm talking 9 1/2 Weeks, Basic Instict, Disclosure (also with Michael Douglas), ripping down the curtains, knocking the lamps off of the night stand, back scratching, shoulder biting couldn't stand up for 30 minutes after fucking. Every day. For two years. We fucked at lunch. At night. In the mornings. There were days I would have to change clothes just to be able to go back to work after lunch. It wasn't until the end that fire started to fade. I wonder if deep down, every time I see a glimpse of blonde hair, maybe a petite 5'3ish figure my body responds to what was the most erotic period of my life. Hmm...

Gawd it's hot!!! We're having a heat wave right now. It's almost 90 in my house. I'm stuck here while the AC guy tries to fix it... again. If it weren't for that guy running around, I'd be tempted to type this naked.

The weekend went by in a blur. I rode my motorcycle to meet my buddy and his group of riders in the middle of my state. All in all it was a pleasurable jaunt. We met at a place that, while it does have it's own zip code and a green acre-esque post office (in the middle of a restaurant no less), it does not warrant a spot on any map. As best I could tell, I was driving to the middle of nowhere. It smacked of a practical joke.

Anyway, my friend showed up with about 20 of his friends. We ate, walked around the place, rode a little bit. Then we parted ways. I have to say, they seemed like a nice bunch of people. But the whole biker "club" thing just isn't for me. Everyone had their leather vests with at least 10 patches. You have to know my friend. He weighs about 250-275, about 5'10, irish with blond hair and a red complexion. He had every leather accessory known to bikerdom. Coat, chaps, A VEST OVER THE COAT, boots, gloves etc. All black of course. He wore a black helmet. When he put it on, his face was kinda... smushed. I almost fell off my bike laughing. He looked like a burnt stay puft marshmellow man. They had all these rules about riding in formation, hand signals, speed etc. By the time I peeled away from them to go back to my respective corner I was ready to open the throttle, swerve from side to side in my lane, and make random hand gestures... or hell even wave at the nice people in their cars all around me.

Don't get me wrong. It was fun. I enjoyed getting together with him. His friends were ok. It's just one of those things I will take in moderation... like once every couple of years.

It always kills me. That people go buy a bike, then start looking for clubs to join. Maybe it's the loner in me, but when you're on a bike, it's not like you can chat. And to me, the whole point is the freedom to haul ass wherever you want to go, in whatever manner, however fast, with whomever you want, and for as long as you want. That was the whole point of Easy Rider, the supposed pinnacle of biker movies and spirit. Do what you want. Live free and all that shit. Not "Live free within the constraints of our social order and self imposed club rules".

Anyway, I forgot how tough 6 hours of riding can be. I was beat to hell. Mrs had to work that day. She got home about an hour after me. We ate dinner, put C to bed. Mrs started gathering things like she was heading off to bed. I asked where she was going. She said "To our room to relax, why?". I said "Well, it would be nice if every once in a while we had some 'family' time". She begrudgingly said ok. She went to the bedroom to change out of her work clothes. She came back wearing a teddy. She said "Aunt Millie is in town (which I assume meant her period). So we can't have 'full' family time. But maybe we could have some 'oral' family time". Which was not what I was after at all. I just thought it was getting ridiculous with us going to our separate corners every night. But hey, I'm a guy... so I didn't correct her. I opened a bottle of wine. Mrs quickly downed 2 glasses (does it really take 2 glasses of wine to give me head? or am I just being sensitive). We were watching George Lopez on Comedy Central. I wasn't really finding him all that funny. But Mrs was cracking up (pretty sure it was the wine). Usually I think he's funny as hell. But I guess I just wasn't in the mood. Anyway, after a few minutes, Mrs set her empty glass down on the side table (I believe this was number 4) and without fanfare or warning, grabbed my belt buckle and started wrestling it loose. Sometimes I have the weirdest thoughts at the weirdest times. It suddenly occured to me that I was going to get a blow job while listening to George Lopez. No offense to Mr Lopez, but NOT sexy!

Not much more to the story. I guess once Mrs has enough wine in her she says Millie can go fuck herself. And, considering how long it's been since I got any, so could Mr. Lopez.

I wish I had the confidence to actively seek what I want. My whole life I have felt horrbily inadequate when it comes to making and keeping friends... or lovers. Some people move effortlessly through their interactions with other people endearing and sometimes even enamouring them. I always meet someone, stammer a few pleasantries, then draw a complete blank beyond that. I'm not a good conversationalist. At least, not at idle chit chat. Get me started on a topic and I spew forth information ad nauseum. It's one of the reasons I don't go to chat rooms. I always feel like I'm forcing myself to say something instead of having something to say naturally. I really want to reach out, meet people, possibly even open new avenues of mischief. I always have the impression geeks like me feel new confidence in the anonymity of cyberspace. In a wierd way, the anonymity is what turns me off of putting myself out there. I'm a bizarre mix of old world and new with a serious case of terminal shyness.

Last night was a doozy in the pluff household. We've been having some behavioral problems with C at school. Lately, she has been throwing tantrums in class which result in a trip to the office. Mrs and I have been talking to her and trying to get her through this phase. Yesterday, she hit a kid with a bucket, then pushed a teacher and ran off. Needless to say, we had a LONG talk last night. And by talk I mean talk accompanied by punishment.

After she went to bed, Mrs and I did our usual thing. I went off to my corner of the house and Mrs fell asleep on the couch watching endless hours of E. Around 9:30 I thought about my post yesterday and decided to do something about it. I walked over to the couch where Mrs lay and plopped down. She layed there zoning on some horrible fashion critique of various red carpet waifs. I was on one end, she was on the other with our legs intertwined. After a few minutes, she got up, turned around and layed down so that she was between my legs with her head in my lap. I though "hmmm.. could this be leading somewhere"? Then I heard "ssssnnnnnnxxxxxxxXXXXXX". Oh that's a sexy sound!!

Cut to this morning. I noticed Mrs running around in this little silk teddy she has. She was definately NOT wearing that when she went to bed. I decided to be lazy this morning and take my time getting dressing. I was still in bed watching the news. Mrs walked in the room, around to my side of the bed, threw back the covers, and climbed on top of me. Again, I thought to myself "hmmm. could THIS be leading somewhere"? I ran my hand down her back to her ass. Panties (not a good sign). She kissed the side of my neck, and said "tonight" and got off of me.

Later, as I was getting dressed, I noticed the telltale signs of "that time". Namely, wrappers from feminine products. Anyone taking bets on whether or not I get any tonight?

I hate to sound all "mid-life-like". But have you ever had one of those days where you just sit and think "This is it? This is my life?" I'm having one of those now. I know, wah. It's my blog and I'll whine if I want to.... in random... possibly unconnected thoughts... be warned.

Mrs is still "sick". She's been "sick" for two weeks now. It's a convenient excuse for her to go to bed around 8:00 and self-medicate every night. Her idea of sick to the point of being bed-ridden is a stuffy nose. MY idea of being sick to the point of being bed-ridden is puking uncontrollably for hours upon hours. Anything less than that is just a physical annoyance.

Perhaps my idea is a little extreme. It's a product of my upbringing. My Grandfather was a country Dr. You would think that any little sniffle would get you a trip to see him. But no, you had to be dying before my Mom would consider you sick. I guess my current take on illness is the result of years of "toughing it out". Somewhere in between bed ridden and tough it out is a realistic model of behavior for someone with a common head cold. And Mrs is far from it. I'm catching a scary glimpse of my life in 15 years or so. Mrs at around 400 lbs and stuck to the couch because she is too "tired" to get off her fat ass and do something about it. It has been suggested by professionals that perhaps she has depression. The symptoms seem right. But Mrs won't take them seriously. From my perspective, I see her less and less. There is less and less intimacy (and I don't mean physical.. though that has suffered as well) and more and more "bed time".

She does have a legitimate excuse for depression right now. This time of year is hell for her at work. She is facing many many weeks of long days, nights, and weekends. She always gets like this around this time of year. I certainly hope it will pass as it usually does. But I have to wonder, is the misery of her job worth it? 4 months of hell for a job that pays less than most teachers in my area make. We can't afford for her to quit working. But damn, you would think she would want a job that at a minimum, doesn't drive her apeshit for 1/4 of the year. Especially for the money we're talking about. Is a measely amount of money worth your sanity?

And no, we have not had sex in quite a while. I'm trying to think back to the last time we did... I think it was almost a month ago. It was kind of humorous because, for once, Mrs was pretty clear what she wanted. In fact, it's the only time she has ever shoved my head down to her pussy. It had been so long since she let me do it, I actually didn't know what she wanted me to do at first.

Anyway, back to my mid-life moment. Wednesdays used to be pool night. As I used to be out until late, Mrs and C made it their night to go to the Mrs-in-Law's and visit. Last night was no different. So I got home yesterday, looked at the freshly printed bank statement (empty), opened the mostly bare refridgerator followed by the mostly bare cupboards. Played a so so game of Madden. Scrounged enough stuff to make some biscuits for dinner (pitiful I know). Flipped channels looking for ANYTHING remotely entertaining until Mrs and C came home. C went straight to bed as did Mrs leaving me sitting in front of the TV thinking to myself, "Is this what I get to look forward to for the rest of my life? Sitting by myself trying to think of interesting things to mentally masturbate to until it's time for me to nod off to sleep from sheer boredom only to wake up and do it all over again.

Damn I have completely depressed myself writing this. I think I'll crawl under my desk and go to bed.

The weather here is turning beautiful. Our winter has been very short so far. The forecast for the rest of this week is sunshine with temps approaching the 80's. It is a great time of year to own a motorcycle. The temps are warm enough that you don't have to put on 20 layers of clothes, but still cool enough that you don't break into a sweat at every red light.

A buddy of mine recently bought a motorcycle. He joined the "Owners group" for the manufacturer of his bike. They do a lot of weekend rides together. I have never been a joiner. Personally, I ride my bike just for the sake of riding. If there's someone to ride with cool. If not, then I enjoy the bike just fine by myself. I don't feel this overwhelming urge to buy a bike so I can have people to hang out with.

He has been bugging me to meet up with them so we can ride together. This weekend, his group has a trip organized to the middle of my state. My buddy and I live on opposite sides of the state, so this would be a convenient trip for us to get together. The weather is so nice right now and with the great forecast, it should be a great ride.

I just wish I had someone to ride with me. Almost every time I ride for fun, I think about the lunch time trips A and I used to take. I always fantasized about pulling over on some backroad and fucking just out of sight of the road in the open air.

Anyone up for a ride?

Thursday, March 02, 2006

Mrs has a cold. Which means, no matter what kind of medication she has taken, no matter how good she really feels, no nookie for me.

She had a girls night out. This was on a day where C had a lot of trouble at school. To the point where I had to leave work to go to her school and have a talk with her. To say my day was bad is an understatement.

By the time Mrs got home, I had fed, bathed, and put C to bed. I sat relaxing on the couch drinking a beer watching whatever didn't bore me to tears. As soon as Mrs walked in the house, she went straight to the kitchen to pour herself a glass of wine. She was already buzzing from her night out. Mrs gets very amorous with a couple of drinks in her.

There was a pile of clothes consuming most of the couch. Mrs has this annoying habit of washing a load of clothes, then dumping them on the couch to fold sometime in the next week. As I was already seated, there was no place for her to sit. So she plopped down between my legs with her back against the couch watching whatever was on the tube. She started telling me about her night out while sipping her wine. She told me of the various comings and goings of the other women etc. etc. She lifted the wine glass to her lips and somehow managed to dribble wine all over her, my pants, and the carpet. She shouted "DONT MOVE!!!" as she ran to the kitchen to get cleaning supplies for the carpet. The stain on the carpet came out quickly (thank you Scotchguard!!). Then Mrs looked at my pants and said "We need to get these in the wash NOW. Take them off!" Who am I to argue. I peeled them off.

So there I sat, on the couch, wearing a shirt, socks, and a smile. What did Mrs do? Nothing. She said "I'm sick" and went to bed leaving me sitting there in front of the TV like nothing happened with the boys just hanging out in the breeze.

For me, for some bizarre reason, I get horny as hell when I'm sick. And I've never let a stuffy nose, especially if I've been medicated, get in the way of a good old fashioned fucking. In fact, there have been many a time where Mrs almost suffocated me BECAUSE we were having sex while I had a cold. She had no problem with initiating even when there was mucous streaming from MY orifices. I would've thought it would be a nice distraction.
