Salutations and Celebrations!!

The reorg is just about complete. I have a new director, new manager, and new team leader. But for the first time in about 2 years I feel pretty good about it. I'm not sure about the director, I just met him for the first time the other day. He's a little.... goofy. But that's not always a bad thing. My new manager is someone I have an immense amount of respect for. I've known him for years and he's one of those people who inspires everyone around him to be a better person. My team leader is a team mate. He's the guy who was called over to "the big office" the other day. I've only known him since we were all forced together in the last reorg. But he's another guy who I know will be a great leader. My old boss, well, he's just one of us now. Which is a good thing.

I feel really bad for him. He was the one guy I never wanted to work for. When they did the reorg before I seriously panicked. Then when we worked for him it was obvious he was simply a yes man. Never rock the boat. Do what you're told. Let someone else create. Only take direction from above. Delegate, delegate, delegate. I think the reason I'm still here after the "monumentally stupid" comment is he was out on bereavement. Another manager handled the situation. But, he's a really nice guy. He's been a manager here for 30 years. He had seniority over ANYONE in management now. He actually has a plant someone gave him when he moved into his office from the 70s. It's still alive. It's actually older than some of my teammates. He's really soft spoken. A pretty gentle soul really. The sad thing is, he's been left behind. Technologically. He was an old IBM Mainframer. He didn't adapt to the intel/unix world we're in today. He also didn't adapt to management styles. I'm sure in the 70's management was much like the military. The boss was the innovator, the planner, the decision maker. Now it's gone down the chain. Management wants people to be creative. "Think outside the box". Be self motivated and directed. All of the managers in place now fit that mold. So it's not a move that, at least for the rest of us, is unexpected. He's pretty upset about it. I mean, it has to be a tough pill to swallow after 30 years. The timing sucks as well. This move is coming only a week after he buried his Father.

For me, this move is re-establishing my faith in my old work ethic. That is, you take care of your customer, you take care of your boss, and they will take care of you. That didn't seem to apply for the last 2 years and I'll be the first to admit, I was in a serious depression over it. I really had no motivation at work. No reason to produce. I watched all of the bullshit vendettas the VP exacted on the people he didn't like. Firing people just because "he got pissed off". Moving one of my good friends off of our team just to punish him for something the customer did. It was all so petty. I really believed my philosophy was not longer applicable. But new people came in. And it looks to me like they see through the BS. They either undid a lot of wrongs. Or did things right instead of half assing them. So I'm excited to be coming to work now.

Have a good weekend all!!

My team at work is still in limbo. We had a meeting with our new Director yesterday. We learned only a little bit about the changes and how they will affect us. I DO know it's a major reorg. All of the past molds have been shattered. The changes are to be in effect next week. But he's leaving it up to Managers to let us know where we fit. So... sometime between now and Monday I guess I'll find out. I already have inside information. I expect today to be.. interesting.

Had a great night out. I'll discuss it all when I have a chance. There's too much going on right now to blog.

Shakeups continue here at work. As I mentioned before, upper management underwent a massive reorganization over the last 6 months. It started with a new CIO. Then the CIO restructured upper management. All of the director level positions had to re-apply for their jobs. There was a lot of shuffling and a good many of them didn't get their jobs back including MY director. Now it's rolling down to us.

Apparently, about 80% of the organization are being shifted to my new Director. Who was a personal hire by the new CIO. Essentially, he just consolidated his power base. To a degree, it makes sense. We underwent a reorg a year and a half ago. I thought a lot of it was blatantly political moves. All of the directors the VP didn't like were shuffled into "liaison" jobs with no power. The "logic" behind the moves was to consolidate and streamline support. But the reality was the organization was just as fractured. They half ass consolidated. The moves coming down today are essentially going all the way with that theme. But it also conveniently moves the power base squarely to the new guys and the old guys are left with a very small percent. The funny thing is, the CIO is undoing most of the STUPID shit the VP did. The people the VP didn't like were the type to "do the right thing" and would fight the VP if they didn't believe something he wanted was right. So in the first go-round, he pushed them off to the side. This go-round, the CIO put them back. A clear slap in the face.

The icing on the cake though, has been these idiotic e-mails the VP sends out saying "Don't believe the rumors, things are proceeding as planned". Without giving us any clue as to "the plan". Yesterday we got another one, except he called my new director XXX when his name is REALLY YYY. I can't go into great detail about the organization, but the CIO has a great deal more power than our VP because of various relationships. Anyway, it just sealed the VP as an idiot. I feel pretty good about that. Then for the CIO to undo everything the VP did just knocks him down even more.

About 6 or 9 months ago a team member of mine was railroaded off of my team. There is another CIO type in my institution who is generally nuts. He decided a project was a high priority (without discussion the priority with any of us). The project was a nothing project and one that really should have never taken priority over some really mission critical projects. Then, without warning, he showed up in my teammate's office and started screaming at him about it. Literally screaming at him. Within 2 weeks my teammate was shuffled off to some nobody position. We were all furious about it because he is a REALLY good guy. We are all positive this nutcase ran to our VP and demanded he be fired. My friend had been with us for over 20 years. So they weren't going to fire him. But the VP DID shuffle him (can you see why I was so paranoid about losing my job). I found out yesterday, my buddy is back!! I'm still pretty pissed at the 6 month circle of hell for him. But all's well that ends well.

The thing that sucks for my group in particular is, we actually reside far away from the main office. We are considered the "hard core" admins and therefore reside with the computer room. There are only about 30 of us over here. Both admins and network guys. As result, we are the last to know anything. Management called a meeting over in the other office and presented a good chunk of the organization. My buddy knew about a lot of the changes LONG before we did. In fact, HE told us he was back. Not management.

I think what will happen today is, there will be several new teams formed. All admins are apparently coming our way. There are too many of them for 1 team. I'm talking about 40 people in addition to the 8 of us. Another teammate of mine was called over to the other office yesterday. I have a strong feeling he was offered a management job running one of the teams. He's a really good guy and I can't think of anyone on my team who would be better at it. We were all standing around his desk when the call came. He met us out at lunch afterwards and we busted his chops pretty good about it. At first he denied denied denied. Then he let on that he knew what was coming but couldn't say. So we REALLY turned up the heat then. I said "You know I have to bust your ass today because tommorrow I'll have to call you 'Sir'". He responded with "What makes you think I know anything?". Clearly contrary to a few other things he said. Then he said "There's no way I could ever play poker with you". I think he was essentially admitting he was going to be management without doing so. Much later in the day he said "I wish to GOD you hadn't been standing there when that call came for me".

For me, my only fear is, I got off of a really dysfunctional team supporting an AWFUL system about 4 years ago. Those people are coming our way. I am terrified I'll get lumped in with them to support that damn system again. I know about 9 months ago they were hurting for admin support. So we'll see.

Enough of that stuff.

Tonight is my night out. I'm not sure why, but I am climbing the walls to get laid. I doubt anything will happen tonight. But it sure make for an interesting evening nonetheless.

A and I had interesting conversations over the weekend via e-mail. I'm going to keep most of it to myself. From my perspective, I've decided Work C is 100% full of shit. And I don't just mean about A. I mean about everything. I'm not sure where this will lead me as far as how he and I relate. Maybe nowhere. Maybe I'll just be a smug little bastard every time he starts laying it on. The next time he shows me some Marine Corp medallion or hat or jacket he wants, I'll just smile and think how sad it must be to cling to how he wants his "friends" to see him. This may be hypocritical, but if he really wants friends to be long term he'd drop the bullshit. I can relate much better to a fucked up 30 something than to an inflated shell of an insecure little man. I say hypocritical because if I were a true friend I'd call him on his bullshit and tell him how I feel. I just look at all the shit with him and can't decide what's real and what's not, or where to begin.

A called me yesterday while I was off. She is really confused about the situation. Not sure of what to do about Work C running his mouth. Maybe not sure if I can handle it. I don't know if she felt any better or worse about me after we chatted or not. I'm totally over the situation though and want to get back to some serious fun.... soon hopefully :)

I'm taking the day off today. I have people to do and things to see.

I've had interesting conversations with A. More to come on that later. In the meantime, have a nice day all.

Saturday, April 24, 2004

I reread my post about Work C. I think I should clarify something about the game, especially A. I was really focusing on Work C and realize my comments may make A look like some kind of tramp or something. So here's what I know:

I don't really know much about anything as far as it is concerned. I know I am priveledged enough to be able to be with A on occasion. I know she is very picky about people she will be with. She confided the number of people she has EVER been with and it is an extremely low number. I haven't been with many people and it's WAY lower than mine. Therefore, I do not think there is an extensive roster of people "in the game". Nor do I know if anyone else is even in at all. However, in the context of the post the other day, I know it's POSSIBLE. It may even be probable from a logical standpoint. But knowing what I know about A, IF there is more than me right now it's not many at all and they aren't just some schmo off the street. But to me, I enjoy the time I spend with her. I don't really worry about the if's and possibilities, with the exception of Work C. Aside from him, it's not something that enters my mind at all. I CERTAINLY don't think she's some raging nymphomaniac laying in bed with legs spread with a line of guys outside her door. Quite the opposite. I have a great deal of respect for her because she's a great person. I wouldn't think she was worth the risk if she weren't.

A called me. She wanted to know exactly what Work C said. This was the dilemma I wrestled with when I wrote the post. I view this site as a personal challenge. Kind of like when I decided to lose weight. I challenged myself to not "punk out" and give up. I'm down 30 pounds. I'm about 10 away from my goal. I decided I was going to do my best to make this as direct a feed into my brain as possible. A "tail -f /var/log/messages" for you geeks out there. Obviously there will be some edit. I only blog once a day generally so if nothing else I HAVE to choose a topic. But I try to write about what's been on my mind most. The sad thing is I'm realizing how much it's always the same over and over. So clearly I'm not as diverse a thinker as I'd like to be. But I kicked myself when I dug deep and realized I was losing my personal challenge to stay pure and write straight from the brain when it came to some topics. So I knew the call was coming.

She and I talked for a while. She didn't confirm or deny anything and I really didn't want her to. I did get the sense she was pretty pissed about Work C. I think her quote was "He's making me sound like a slut" or something like that (after pondering that statement I realized how my post must've sounded about her). She reiterated he is the LAST person I should worry about. I really appreciate her reassuring me. I feel much better letting him run his mouth knowing he's full of shit. Again. She told me he left her a message saying he had told me some things. She said he said something to the effect of "I said something to Mr. Don't give up on me". Whatever that means. So clearly he thinks I'm running to her every time he says something. Which I guess I sort of did. She really wanted to "get back at him". We talked some more and decided that IF he approached me again I would tell him SHE asked ME after HE called HER (did you follow that). Sort of putting it on him for running his mouth to anyone.

Later, I started wondering whether she read MY post first or was she really calling me because he left her a message. Hmmm, there's one to ponder. Although it doesn't really matter one way or the other. Except that I assumed she had read my post and reiterated a few comments I made in there. Which in hindsight, if she hadn't, would seem a little stupid at the time. Anyway, things seem settled for now.

So now I just hope I get a chance to make her squirm some time soon. :-)
Pornomaniacal.
Mrs and I went out for the first time in a while. Just the two of us. The dinner was awesome. After the week I had I got nicely tanked. Couple of drinks before we left. A nice bottle of wine at the restaurant. It's rare that food is so good I have to eat every single bite. When we were finished, I was so stuffed it was actually tough to stand. Like gravity and alcohoal and my over extended belly all conspired to make me want to lie down right where I stood and sleep.

We got home and relieved the baby sitter. I was so sleepy I just wanted to get in bed. Mrs had other plans. Alcohol really loosens her up. We did it this way, then that, her on top, me on top, 69, and so on and so on. All in all, a damned good end to a wild week.

Pornomaniacal... GREAT word!!

Exhausted.

The sick system from Tues is still very sick. Airborne Express managed to ship the part to OH instead of Southern City. Unlike UPS, or Fed Ex, their tracking system is FUCKING WORTHLESS!!! I went round and round with them yesterday trying to get an estimate on delivery. They would not give me anything other than Friday morning. We tried to escalate the problem. I was told they could "hot deliver" it which means the package would go from plane to truck as soon as it hit the ground. The girl said "if the plane arrives this afternoon you should have it this evening". So I scheduled people to hang around after hours anticipating the arrival. It didn't show. So I called and discovered that "hot deliver" just means this part will be on the FIRST truck out when they open at 9:00 in the morning. ARGH!!!!! This would be the 3rd night this week I worked late for no good reason, not counting the near firing from Sunday and the stress from awaiting the fallout of that (BTW it's Fri. and I will assume all is completely well when I leave here unscathed this afternoon). I need a damn vacation. Stress relief. Maybe just a good DRUNK!!!!

My friends must think I'm the cheapest bastard around. Mrs has worked her ass off for her company for their annual spring event. Her division turns enough profit with this even to provide their ENTIRE operating budget. Does she get a bonus? Does she get a raise? NOO.... She gets dinner on the company. So tonight she and I are taking advantage of this and celebrating our Anniversary on her company. The question is, am I supposed to get her a gift? Uh oh.

I have caught myself altering what I post to this site because I know A will read it. I am doing my best not to edit what I write because I want this site to be pure. Like I have said in the past, this site helps me think amongst other things. So I'm going to air something even if it causes problems to get myself back on track. Ever since I joined the game, as A calls it, I have had 1 rule. I won't do anything with A if Work C is in the game.

It's time for some background on Work C. He works on the same team I do. He is an ex-marine. He has been with the company 4 years. Of the 4 years, you could probably count the days he's actually worked on 1 hand. Recently, it came to a head and management said "straighten up or get out". His response to this was to get his hands in everything. It's debatable whether or not he's actually DOING anything. But he is certainly giving the appearance. You see, Work C is one of those guys who will play EVERY situation to his advantage. He will work the system, bend the rules almost to the breaking point. Change behavior so he is bending and twisting something else. He has a really bad temper. I believe bi-polar personality. He and I have in the past been really tight. He shows up anywhere from 10am to noon and leaves on average around 6pm. He says he is working a ton on the weekends etc. My boss says he is checking logs to track him and he is on the system during times he claims to work. He puts in EXACTLY 40 hours. No more. No less. If he works on a weekend, he takes Monday off. Even if it's possible there will be fallout from whatever he did. He takes Mon off. Or whatever the day after is. Every member of my team has tried to talk to him and he just doesn't see a problem with any of what he does. He has to do everything bigger than anyone else. He has to eat more food. Drive a bigger vehicle. He even is proud of the fact that no-one can go in the bathroom after him for 2 hours. I could go on and on but you get the picture. Most importantly, and honestly, his biggest liability is his mouth. He runs it non-stop. He says crazy things like "I have a job waiting for $150k if I want it". "Don't believe what you hear, I'm the hardest worker on my team". He only served 4 years in the Marine Corp. He did NOT get a Honorable Discharge. He got an administrative discharge. Which means he did something bad enough to get him kicked out, but not bad enough for it to be Dishonorable. Yet he celebrates the Marine Corp Birthday. He wears Marine Corp jewelry. He is even contemplating getting a Marine Corp emblem hitch cover. Though he only served 4 years and he was run out. He can't keep his mouth shut. If he finds out something, he blabs about it. If he does something he blabs about it. It's even debatable whether or not he makes some stuff up. He could probably get away with ANY of the crap he pulls at work if he didn't run his mouth. On a day when he actually comes in earlier than anyone else, he makes a point of shouting "Hello!!!" to whoever comes in after as if THEY are slacking. Which throws the spotlight on the 360 other days he DOESN'T come in before 10am.

Having vented about this, he IS my friend. I would have his back in spite of everything because we are buds. He has helped me at times when it has been inconvenient as hell. All of the things I just slammed him on are what make him who he is. And as long as I don't have to rely on him at work (I do) or have complete trust in our friendship we're cool. The dilemma is, I have to rely on him at work. And our friendship is crossing boundaries relationship wise. I.e. A.

When A and I started discussing the game, she said to me "One rule is, you can't talk about it to anyone". A day later, Work C and I are shooting a game of pool before any of the other team members arrived. He said "A called me. She's coming". So I said "ReaAALLY?" in a conspiratorial tone. "What's up with that?". I asked. His response was "I can't talk about it. It's a rule". Hmmmm.... I just heard this very phrase. So I asked A as diplomatic as I could "It's really none of my business and I wouldn't normally care, except for WHO I'm talking about. But Work C said something and I have to ask, is there anything to it". She responded to the effect of he would like to think there is, but she couldn't trust him to shut his mouth so she never would. I told her I would never ask again and I haven't. I try to keep my place in the game and not overstay boundaries.

A couple of days after I had the conversation with A about it, Work C, in front of co-workers at lunch said "What did you say to A? She is pissed at me". To which I responded "I don't remember what I said. I was probably joking with her about hooking up or something". He said "Well you got me in trouble with her". To which I thought, "well, if you'd keep your mouth shut like you're supposed to IF anything is going on there wouldn't be a problem now would there". So clearly A went back to Work C and chewed him out or said something. Then he went on to tell me they had actually set times but he didn't show up.

Since then, I've been very careful about what I say to both Work C and A. If for no other reason than if Work C knows I've had these conversations with A, then he could piece together my involvement in the game. I've already taken a calculated risk on this site. Risk increases exponentially with exposure. Also, as long as I don't know I'm breaking my rule, I'm not going to sweat it. So I really didn't pry too much because as far as I know I'm sticking to my guns. If I were to really find out something WAS going on, then I'd have to decide what to do. Be a punk and say "ok...". Or stand fast and bow out.

The problem is, Work C continues to run his mouth. Today he said to me "Thanks for letting me give A a ride back to her car last night" with a really smug smile on his face. I said "Oh yeah?" in a conspiratorial way. He said "It was awesome". I just nodded. Then he said "I was on my way back to the house when A called. She said 'I'm so excited it's a damned shame we're heading in opposite directions'. I could get in SO much trouble". I just laughed and walked off. The maddening thing is, he gives just enough detail to make me question what really happened. But then leaves out any other details and makes comments that lead me to believe nothing did happen. So I don't know whether I would break my rule by continuing with A or not.

So what the fuck am I supposed to do. I have my rule. A tells me he's all talk. Which I will believe. When he made the comment saying "I could get in SO much trouble" he made an X sign with his fingers like he was having to fight to stay away. I'd like to think he's just running his mouth to impress me. Then again, A could be telling me what I want to hear. Which I really don't care. I have my rule. But as long as I believe I'm sticking to my rule, it's not really my concern. It's a part of the game. As far as I know there are others in the game now. I don't ask. I play MY part in the game. Try to enjoy myself (ok there is no TRY to it). I hope A enjoys herself and I believe she does. I have no problem with thinking there may be someone else with her right now. I chose to join. But I really enjoy not knowing who it is. I don't have to associate any history I may have with someone to any mystery partners there may be. And it's great. My only problem is, with someone who runs their mouth, that anonymity is shot. If it were someone who I had no opinion of one way or another I may or may not care. But for someone like Work C it's a dilemma because I have my rule.

So, the problem I have is, if I talk to A about it, and Work C IS in the game, then she will have to say something. Which would let him know I'm in the game (can you see why I've been editing this, because essentially I'm talking to her now... ARGHH!!). I clearly can't say "Hey, shut your mouth. I'm in the game damnit!" to Work C. Because A) it would break the 'don't talk about it rule' which I have followed religiously to date and B) it compromises me. I could lie and say "Listen, are you in or out because I'm about to be in and my rule is XXX and you're driving me fucking nuts". It doesn't admit I'm in the game. But if he shuts up, would he assume? He would never know for sure. But he would have WAY more of an idea then than he does now. Would that be an acceptable risk? Since he can't keep his mouth shut, would he "confide" in someone else that I MAY be playing. Now we have rumors.

I guess the last option is to back out of the game. Which REALLY pisses me off because I can keep my mouth shut. Maybe Work C knows I'm in and is doing this shit on purpose to get me to back out. I'm sure the last thing A wants is for someone to whine on and on about someone else. It's got to be a mood killer. I'm really having a good time with her, though, and I'm not ready to back out yet. ARGHGH!!!!

I don't know what to do. But at least I feel better for getting it off my chest.
Thursday morning and all is a blur. Or a fog. Shit I don't know.

Almost the entire pool team showed up to mess around and shoot etc. last night. I can honestly say, with K gone, the mood was so much lighter. Of course, we weren't playing a match either. A will be joining the team. She has great potential as a shooter, but needs just a little bit of practice. Most of the night various people coached her. I'm sure she must've felt overwhelmed because there were 3 people telling her different things at all times. Sometimes talking at once. She was learning fast. By the end of the night she could send the cue ball from end to end so that it came to rest on the tip of her cue stick. I still have trouble with that drill to this day.

B was wired. Perhaps it was the coke. Who knows. But it was entertaining. She is mostly starting to turn a little more... adult. I stress the little. But hey it's better than complete brat. For some reason, she is really pushing me to have sex... with anyone. I'm not sure why. Well... I have an idea but I'll keep it to myself for a while. She asked to borrow my phone. I glanced over her shoulder and see she has dialed E's number. Last week she was really pushing me to call her one night when Mrs had to work. I never did. This week she talked to her for a bit, then handed me the phone. "What are you wearing?" I asked. She said "Shorts". "Underwear?" I queried. "You're so bad!!" she replied. I talked her into coming out. When she finally made it out, we started the whole routine. After a few minutes though we started talking more seriously. I think even she is starting to get bored with it. I asked her why B wanted us to hook up so bad. E wasn't sure why. I think she knows, but isn't saying. Eventually the conversation turned to normal stuff. After a while E decided to call it a night. She said "You should walk me out to my car, and I'll tell B later if you could do other stuff with your mouth as well as you kiss etc..". So I walked her out. We stood by my truck for a few minutes. Then she left. When I got back inside, I walked by the table where A was shooting and she leaned into me and asked "Are you trying to make me jealous?". "No we're just messing with B". I told her the whole story about B pushing us to hook up.

Throughout the night I really started laying it on thick with B. She was trying to act bratty. Doing the whole "I don't like you now. Why are you still on this team". So I leaned in and said "B, let's not play games anymore. You know you want me. Let's not hide from our feelings". She just stared at me. It's like fish in a barrel.

I think she may have taken me seriously though. We all decided to go eat at the waffle House. A said "Somebody give me a ride". So I offered. I can't remember exactly how, but I pointed out my new truck to everyone. B went nuts, "OK, A you ride with W and I'll ride with Mr". "NO!! A and I will ride with Mr". So we all piled in my truck. The girls and me that is. B and A were discussing sexual positions we could all do in the truck or something like that. B said "Ok, I'll drive so you two can try it". I laughed. She said "Seriously STOP THE TRUCK SO I CAN DRIVE!!". We were still in the parking lot. So I stopped. She said, "Ok, let me drive now". A and I kinda said "Shyaa!! As if!!". There was more frivolity on the way to the Waffle House. But it was pretty much the same kind of stuff. Then when we finished eating, we were all walking out the door and B said "Ok, now A you ride with Work C or W and MR can take ME!!". I didn't realyl say anything. But I got in my truck. A rode with Work C and B rode with W. I pulled out of the lot and thought to myself, "WTF WAS THAT!!!". I think morbid curiosity has taken hold of me. As if I have to push B just to see how far she would go. Except with her, I'm sure IF she were serious it'd be pretty far. If she weren't serious, I think it'd STILL be pretty far for the same reason I can't turn down a challenge. With me willing to push purely for shock value, and her possibly doing it as well this can not possibly end well.

The only downer, or frustrating part of the night was Work C had his hands all over A. I mean grabbing her ass. Running his hands on her thighs. Touching her way more intimately than I've ever seen him touch his own wife. I'm not really the jealous type normally. Especially in this situation. I know the game with A. I am a willing participant. I know she is with her fiance just as I am with Mrs. But Work C in particular is one that drives me nuts. I haven't really gone into detail about him. But I have said there are some people I would not willingly share someone, anyone with. Work C is one of them. A and I have talked. I don't think there's anything to it. He thinks so. She assures me there's nothing to it and I believe her. But he is the type to see any opening as an opportunity to push and push. And he does. I just sit and let him push knowing what it's really like to be with her. But I am still a guy so I have to admit, even though I just smile and let him think he's the cleverest Don Juan in the south, sometimes it's still tough when he's SO blatant.

All in all though, it was a great night out. I certainly hope this is an indication things will return to being fun on Wed. nights.

Another day and I'm still here. I think I'm in the clear. I got a "Thank you" e-mail from the dept head yesterday. She copied various members of management. It also contained a back handed admission that HER vendor caused the problem. The only thing I'm still sweating is the "monumentally stupid" comment directed at her vendor's plan. But I think with her "Thank you" the most I could get would be a written reprimand. I wouldn't even sweat it at this point except her reputation is one as a backstabber, blame shifter, bitch with a great deal of power and I could see her still making a stink about the comment. Or maybe she DID make a stink and my management shut her down. Most everyone who talked to me about it gave me the impression they told my Director "He was right. Don't even think about doing anything". If anything were going to happen it would come from the VP who has a tendency to fly off the handle. If THAT happened, my management would talk him down from stronger action to a letter. But this is a big hypothetical set of events.

Elsewhere in pluffland:

I had a long series of bad system failures yesterday. I was late getting home from work. We ate dinner and I crawled in bed around 9:30. I wasn't really sleepy, but I was exhausted from the stress of worrying over my job and the sick systems still needing attention. We lay there and watched TV for a while. I'm not sure how I feel about this, but Mrs decided to play a little while watching Queer Eye. Does that make me gay? That my wife would give me a blow job while SHE watches Queer Eye? After a while she decided it was time to get serious. She climbed on top. I was so tired I was content to just sit back and let her get her jollies. So I was laying there, hands behind my head enjoying it. Mrs was sitting on me, straddling if you will. I looked at her. She had her eyes closed and a hand clamped on each nipple. I took an immediate interest because in the past, she was very shy about self pleasure. Even if I was involved. She still had her eyes closed and I was still watching her when she snaked a hand south and started fingering her clit. Now I was REALLY interested. So continued to lay there, watching her enjoy herself, enjoying watching her, when one eye popped open and she realized I was looking at her. At which point she immediately flushed and leaned over on top of me. I really had to suppress a chuckle because if I did, she would've been mortified by it.

Tonight normally would be my night out. However, we are between sessions. I think I'm still going to head out anyway. I hate giving up the "kitchen pass". My guess is I'll be the only one there. A said she would go. I'm excited about that of course. If nothing else it'll be nice just to get out of the house and blow off some steam.

Still here.

My Manager is out of bereavement until later this week. Another Manager came around and asked me about the incident. I went over it with him. This lady is apparently well known for her antics. But she also wields a lot of power. The Manager said "Basically she got in over her head with something she didn't understand, but it was OUR fault HER vendor broke it". To which I replied "Exactly". He also told me she trusts her vendors more than she trusts our department (we're supposed to be on the same side). I kinda figured that one out when I tried to talk to her offline and it was apparent she not only doesn't trust us, but has real contempt for us.

Today, I ran into my Director, the one she called Sunday. Or rather, the acting director.... ex director. I honestly don't know what my relationship is to him. You see, he was one of the people who had to apply for their jobs and didn't get it. His replacement started last week. He's still employed. People still go to him as if he's our Director including my Manager. So, at least for the moment, he's still in power. Anyway, he said "I bet you're glad the weekend is over after all of that mess". I said "I'll be happier if I make it to Friday and am still here". He didn't say anything. We talked about the situation some more. He also knows this person well and knows what power games she plays. He said "She'll have selective memory or will say one thing at the time, then it's totally different later when she's bitching". My guess is, the last time this happened, she went straight to the VP of the company. He is the type that will do anything to keep conflict away from him. So he just wrote up the poor guy on my team without getting facts, offering him a chance to rebut what she said, nothing. I believe if she goes to him again, he'll simply act. My current Director most likely won't care because he's really out of a job. IF he's asked at all, I believe he will give his opinion favorably for me. But only IF he's asked and he doesn't feel threatened for dissenting with upper Management. He's clinging to any job we may have for him. He's not going to go against them.

Enough of that.

I had a great lunch with A last week. It was kind of humorous because our normal lunch routine is to ride the motorcycle to this deserted park. Walk the trail to this shack. Then do what we do there. This time, she was working across town. So I had to find a place to go. I don't know that area as well. So I checked out a couple of potential places. None of them were as secluded as an obscure park with a shed. So I picked her up, we went to one place. It was deserted. But kind of out in the open. She glanced around. I said, "Do you want to go somewhere else?". She responded with a definite "YES". So I drove to another place. It was a HUGE park. I just discovered it. It was a huge place with several athletic fields. I would say all in all the road winding through the park was over a mile long. At each field, there were typical parking lots adjacent to the field. Across the road were "wooded" lots for additional parking. For the most part, these were completely deserted. So I pulled in one and parked in the back of the lot. We were reasonably hidden from the road. But if someone pulled into the lot we'd be easy to spot. I eased over and we started chatting. She seemed nervous so I asked "Are you OK with this?". She said "This is pretty open. I'm pretty uncomfortable with this". "Not a problem" I replied. So we sat there and chatted. I said there was a lake running along the park. She asked if we could see it. So we went for a walk. Where we were parked at the time, the lake was more of a marsh. So I said "the lake is much better at the last parking area". "Let's go" she replied. So we drove down to the last area. I pulled into a parking spot. There was the lake in front of us and what looked like an island with a bridge from the parking area to it. So we got out and walked across the bridge. I've seen this lake from the main road and what appeared to be an island or peninsula. This bridge apparently is the other end of the island from what you can see from the road. There was a winding path along the shore. We walked the path for a few minutes. The island was empty. There were houses all along the opposite shore. A stepped behind a huge azalea. She took a step left... back.... looked over her shoulder and said. "Here's good" (or something to that effect). We started to play a bit. I really wanted to make her cum, to taste her. I knelt down and started to undo her pants. She got really nervous and said "OK, this is really uncomfortable". So we switched. What a great way to spend lunch!! I only wish I could reciprocate.

Sadly, this may be the last lunchtime rendezvous. She is switching jobs and won't be able to get away at lunch any more. Damn!! Oh well... it was a blast while it lasted. At least when we get together now, I'll be able to play with her amazing pussy.

I had an interesting weekend. I spent most of the day yesterday fighting to keep my job. One of the departments in my institution upgraded a system. The vendor they used did something no admin in their right mind would do. It broke a lot of things. At which point I got involved. The head of this department is a well known bitch. During the conversation, there was a lot of finger pointing. I did my best to explain that what they did caused the problem. The conversation ended with me saying "M'am, you need to understand that what they did was monumentally stupid". At which point SHE flew off the handle. "What did you just say? You couldn't have said what I think you said? Perhaps I'M too stupid to understand what you said?". And on and on. I finally said "M'am, I need to speak to you off line". We talked. I tried to explain to her I was speaking of the vendors we are paying to do this. To which she replied "They are colleague of mine, and calling them monumentally stupid is the same as calling ME monumentally stupid". It was obvious there was no way for me to salvage the situation. So I apologized. A lot. I didn't matter. She immediately called my Director.

In the past, one of our other team members made a change that the same vendor requested. Again, it broke everything. He ended up with a written reprimand. During all of this yesterday, he stayed as far away from the situation as possible. I can't say I blame him. I have a strong feeling my job is in question today. I don't get this. A vendor WE pay, does something stupid, and I'M in trouble for calling them on it?!?

I've had alls I can stands and I can't stands no more. I do my damnedest to not make this a political blog. In spite of my deeply conservative feelings. Recently, I've read a few blogs where people have been bashing Bush. It doesn't piss me off that people bash the President. Especially liberals. Because what else would they do? What pisses me off is the ignorance of their rants. Or rather the selective information in their rants. Let me give example. I will give the Republican slant:

Economy: CNN reports on 4/15/2004 Manufacturing Rebounds. Additionally, on their 7 economic indicator charts 5 of 7 are "rebounding growth"

Clearly the economy is turning around. In spite of liberal spin.

Of course I also "selectively excluded" the news that March production numbers are down. Consumer confidence is down this month as well. However, march had the highest job growth month in the last 6 or so years. People demanded economic recovery, they are getting it. Maybe not as fast as they'd like. But the numbers clearly support that. Not all of them. But most of them. Yet people still claim Bush has done nothing. And on what planet, and time in our history has the economy EVER responded to ANY government measure in less that 4-6 years? The economy responds to what is important. I.E. The dot.com crash. Hell the dot.coms were WAY overpriced. EVERYONE knew it. The president had NO say in that whatsoever. AND it was Clinton anyway. I don't blame him for it. I DO blame him for the tax and spend policy they had for years. Midnight fucking basketball?!?! How much did THAT little program cost us? The post 9/11 recession. The man was in office less than a year. How in the HELL could he send us into a recession in a year? I think those planes hitting the towers was the single most influential moment on the US economy in history.

People claim Bush invented intelligence to make a war with Iraq. Has anyone actually read the report on WMDs the task force produced after hostilities ended? I did. The report clearly stated that while they had found none, EVERYONE IN THE IRAQI REGIME BELIEVED THEY HAD THEM. The only people who knew for sure LIED TO SADDAM BECAUSE THEY WERE AFRAID OF DYING!! This was clearly stated in the report. Our intelligence, was based on their own beliefs. However, the media and liberals skipped over that part and hammered the fact that they hadn't found any. Never mind EVERYONE was lead to believe they had them. If you were President Bush, and every piece of intelligence says they have and will use WMDs, what would you do? I'm not saying they haven't made tons of mistakes. I personally think it was a mistake to invade. But I don't sit in that office and I don't have all of the relevant information. But most importantly, we had 8 years of Clinton letting Saddam run lose and THAT clearly didn't work. I admire Bush for deciding a course of action, and making something happen. Even if it may mean the end of his political career.

Bush didn't do enough to stop 9/11. HELLOOOO!!!! Have we forgotten this was the SECOND attempt on the World Trade Center? Have we forgotten the embassy bombings? What about the Cole? And WHO'S watch did all of this happen on? Hmmm???? What was Clinton's response to any of these? A cruise missile sent on 24hr old intelligence?

People are pissed about his tax cuts. They give breaks to the rich. Let me ask a stupid question, how much does someone considered "low income" pay? Let me ask another stupid question. If our economic indicators are based on jobs, manufacturing, the stock market etc. How is someone who makes $15k a year going to have ANY impact on that with a tax cut? Do you seriously think they will take the money they saved on taxes, $20, and go out and dump it in the stock market? My wife is the biggest liberal out there. I asked her, what did you do as far as investing this year. She makes what I would consider to be a low middle class income. She replied "none". "Why is that?" I asked. "I can't afford it". "If you had say.... another $600 back in taxes this year would you invest THAT?". "No" she answered. So I don't get it. People clearly want "feel good" changes that have no impact on the real world.

Now, here's where I criticize Bush. I think the whole gay marriage thing is clearly a ploy to get votes. Surveys conducted in the last month show most Americans support gay marriage bans. I can believe it because most people don't want to shout about it, but feel that way. Personally, I don't care one way or another. This is where my "true conservative" comes out. I say to each his own. Let them marry. As long as it has no impact on me, let them. Let them experience the marriage penalty tax. I wouldn't be surprised if Bush flipflopped on the issue, the liberals wouldn't accuse him of taxing gay's unfairly at that point. And yes, he DID do away with a lot of the penalty. But not all of it. Of course you'll never see a liberal applaud him for that.

We haven't heard word one about and real medicare reform. I have worked in the medical industry and can tell you, the damned Feds are what fucked it up in the first place. Some poor Dr. out there goes and performs surgery X, the government comes along and says "We're only going to pay you 60% of the cost of this procedure. " What business in the world works like that. Granted, there are a lot of Drs who will rip off people given half a chance. But so do mechanics. You don't see the government forming "Carcare". If you did, it'd cost $300 for an oil change.

I think Bush SHOULD'VE given tax breaks across the board. Why not. Like I said, how much could you possibly cut for someone who pays next to nothing anyway? Make them feel good. You'd get reelected.

That's it, I'm spent. I could go on and on. But I have an opportunity with A. I must go now. I'll never utter another political comment again.

God help me, I have a new target Wed. nights. I don't know what has gotten into me. I guess E is getting too boring. I can't help it, I have to fuck with B. It started last week with the whole "bumpy ass" episode. The conversation started with us discussing E. B asked what I was doing Saturday. I told her Mrs had to work late and I had to take care of C. She said, "I know someone who would really love it if you gave them a call". Hmmm.... who could that possibly be?!?! So B and I went into the whole deal with E etc. At one point we started talking about the fact that I have kissed E. Not in a romantic way. But because E has on occasion come up to me and said "Kiss me", but in a challenging way. As if I would be too scared too. We all know that's the perfect way to get me to do something. So I have given her a quick kiss. Her eyes were as big as dinner plates. I was amused etc. The point of this conversation with B was that I would do limited things just for shock value. I said "Like last week, when you said if I had the BALLS I'd grab your ass and see you didn't have a bumpy butt". B went ballistic. "I NEVER SAID ANY SUCH THING!!!!". Ah... the target has now been set. So we started in, "The HELL you didn't". Work C chimed in at this point and said "I was standing right there". B tried in vain to deny deny deny. So I said "Me thinks she doth protest too much. I think she liked it". At which point she REALLY went over the edge. "You just need to go home. Go on. Go home!!". Like that would happen. At this point I really had to turn up the heat, I didn't really mention this in my post last week. But B grabbed MY ass before she told me to grab hers. I was standing by the bathroom waiting in line. I guess B had gone to the women's room. I was facing away from both Men's and Women's doors. She walked by me from the bathroom and grabbed a whole handful of my ass. I damned near jumped onto the dance floor when she did it. As far as I knew, the only people in those rooms were guys. I was definitely startled. So I said to B "I guess you don't remember grabbing MY ass do you?". BULLSEYE!!! "NO.... WAY!!!! I DID NOT GRAB YOUR ASS!!!!!". It went on from there "I think you need to lay off the crack pipes, it's clearly affecting your memory". "I think she must've liked it". "She keeps coming back like she wants some more". "B, don't run away from your feelings!!". On and on. This can not end well.

K was there for her last night on the team. The other team was in last place and didn't show. So we all hung out, picked on B, shot some pool. After a while K decided it was time to exit. She did the whole "I'll miss you all" thing. Rounds of hugs. Answered questions about when she was leaving etc. She came over and gave me a hug. Her hand drifted down to my ass. Hey, it's her last night. Whatever does it for her. After a few minutes of byes it was evident she was going to leave for real. She walked over to me, grabbed my face and attempted to lay one of the kisses I wouldn't do with E on ME! I grabbed the back of her head and yanked her into a hug instead. She was seriously trying to put a kiss on me. I mean DAMN!! Her man was standing RIGHT THERE!! That's the last thing I need. Some redneck whose madly in love with a 300 lb Heidi Fleiss of BF South to actually want to fight because SHE has a hard on (possibly literally) for ME!! Of course, a fight at that moment might've been a relief.

The night eventually ended. K was gone. B was sufficiently riled. We had an opportunity to harass a new, pretty attractive waitress. All in all, a decent night out.

Wednesday, April 14, 2004

Ah Wednesday. It's the last night of the pool session. It's official, K is out, A is in. Whew! Maybe next session we can get back to normal.

In a completely different part of my life:

At what point does one give up on a relationship? I had a long distance fling a while back before I started dating Mrs. with a woman I met through work. A vendor. We worked on a project together. She lived in Ohio, me in the South. We've stayed in touch via e-mail ever since. I consider her a very good friend. She is in another long distance relationship. She just turned 40. He is in his early... and I mean EARLY 30s... lives in Florida. She's had issues with their relationship off and on as long as I've known about it. Commitment issues. One visit he is at best indifferent, another he is wildly affectionate. Apparently he has had some real medical problems lately. Tore his shoulder in a bicycle accident about a year ago. He's had intestinal problems off and on as well. To top it off, both of them are seriously bi-polar. Recently, he began bleeding from his colon. He ended up in the hospital for several weeks. She dropped her plans, career, child (she's a single Mom) and ran to Florida to be with him and help in any way she could. It seems he was a real pain in the ass. Grumpy. Told her she shouldn't have come all that way. She works in the medical industry and knows how hospitals work etc. He refused her advise on issues he had with his care. She eventually went back to Ohio. After a few more weeks they performed a colostomy. He got out of the hospital. She went back down to visit/help out. Again, he was rude and grumpy. Whining about how much pain he was in one second, then chewing her out for "babying" him the next. Her description of the visit was "I couldn't wait to get back on the plane to Ohio. It was one of the worst weeks I've had lately". I know the guy is suffering. Probably really scared, depressed etc. But damn. For your girlfriend to fly all the way the hell down there, then treat her like shit for trying her best to take care of you.

I try to be a good friend to her and say supportive things. But I can't find anything positive to say. Since I'm officially a "former lover" would anything I say be automatically tossed out because technically he's "the other guy". Even though it was never that type of relationship. I really do wish her the best. I don't see this guy as being it for her. If I said, "Listen, look at all the crap you've been through. I know the timing sucks but you need to dump this guy" would that be callous and unsympathetic of his situation. I mean, to have your colon removed, then get dumped by your girlfriend.

I guess he put himself there. Had they had a wonderful relationship to that point maybe his illness manners could be overlooked because... well... he's not himself. But if things were shaky before, this just seems like it could be par for the course forever. I dunno.

WHAP!! "Why is that so funny?" A asked. At this point I had made her cum 2 or three times. I lose count after the 2nd. "It just tickles me. I'm not laughing at you" I replied. "Is it wrong for me to cum?" she asked. "Oh no" I answered.

I'm not sure why it tickles me to see someone cum. There is no thought process that goes through my brain, like a comedian playing an internal dialogue that cracks him up. It's more of an emotion or a state of mind at that precise moment. Like the feeling I get when the band hit the groove and we blasted out the most amazing jam. We'd play the same songs over and over whenever we gigged around. Energy was usually high when we played. But every once in a while, the moons aligned, the music gods struck thunder in us and we fucking ROCKED! Maybe it was just one song. But there were times when you'd get lost because it was just so intense. Everyone locked in on each other, almost in each others head. You play on total instinct. You know the motions, the notes. But you lock in on the total sound and lose yourself. Then you realize you're playing things you've never played before because it's like you're listening to the radio more so than participating. And you realize this and it drives you harder. Then you finally reach the end and the hair is standing on the back of your neck, like something supernatural just took you over for 5 minutes then released you. Whenever you finish something like that you just laugh. Not because it's funny. But it just feels right. The elated feeling, the joy, the adrenaline rush from the massive energy release.

I get tickled when I make someone cum I think because it feels right to giggle. Not because I'm laughing at them. Although I have to admit, when someone jumps and hits their head it's a little humorous. I feel elated... like I connected with someone on the most intimate level. Making someone cum means you a) obviously did something right and b) they opened themselves up, let their hair down if you will to let it happen. At that moment, you're with THAT person. Not the person they portray to the world. Not the person they want YOU to see. You're with THEM at that moment. I'm not saying there's any deceit going on normally. We all know we put on different faces. At that moment, you let all of that go.

For me I get a rush from making it happen. I really enjoy knowing I can do that. I enjoy knowing I can do it more than once. I want to walk away knowing I turned someone to mush. I made them cum until they were totally and utterly spent. I don't know if I've actually accomplished that. But I try hard. And I love doing it.

When it's all said and done, right after she's arched her back off the bed, shook, shoved my head away from her beautiful pussy I can't help it. I just get tickled.

Hmm... the new Director of my Division just came and "toured" our office. He stopped to meet the managers. Never said word one to us flunkies. I guess he views us like a farmer views his cows. You don't get to know your food.

I think my career clock just started winding down.
Good morning all in blogland!

As I said in one of my previous posts, I used to sail. I owned several small boats and sailed one competitively. One of the guys I used to compete with, and the guy who helped me get into sailing, offered for me to crew on a new type of boat he has recently gotten in to. Really, it's new to him. These boats have been around for years and years. The design is currently owned by a former America Cup skipper Buddy Melges. We sailed a regatta Fri. and Sat. It was an interesting experience. I haven't sailed in about 6 years. There were definitely a lot of cobwebs. Trying to remember terminology... trying to figure out where they were on this boat. This was the first race any of us had sailed this type of boat in. I think I spent most of the regatta waiting for the boat to capsize at any second. The skipper and I have a history when it comes to flipping boats. He ends up upside down in about 1 out of 3 regattas on the old boats. One time, a long time ago, we were supposed to sail this little 1 day race. The wind was up around 25 knots, which is WAY too much for us amateurs. The only boat on the water was a world sunfish champion, and my buddy (I'll call him S). We're watching these two maniacs out there sailing around. After a while, S ends up upside down. About 20 or 30 minutes later a power boat comes up to the dock with S's wife. She said to me "S needs you and your tiller (the thing that steers the boat)". So I threw on my wet suit, life jacket, grabbed my tiller and off I went to help rescue my friend. It took about 10 minutes, but we got the boat back up right. He sees the other guys (the champs) out sailing like it was nothing. So he said "Let's go get them". The boat was a damned mess after the capsize, lines everywhere, tangled. So I'm trying my best to straighten up and not flip again. He saw something up high on the boat that was amiss and said "Stand up on the deck and fix that". You have to see these boats. But you don't typically stand up in them. You want your weight down low. Not to mention the decks weren't designed to be stood on. Especially in this kind of wind. Long story short, it didn't end well. I ended up with about a 2 inch chunk missing from my shin. I was sitting there with bone showing and blood pouring off my leg when he says "there they are, let's go get them". Now, we're just messing around. We're not racing. No one else was fool enough to go out in this wind. So we try to catch up with them. They made a turn, we made a turn, together it was a bad move. We t-boned each other at full speed. I hit the floor (which is amazing because there's not much of a floor to hit) and watched the BOTTOM of the other boat slide over top of me, over top of S (who is also lying in the floor) and off the back of the boat. Somehow, we managed to stay upright through all of this. At that point I yelled "GAME OVER!!!! TAKE ME IN!!". My leg ended up getting seriously infected. I went to see the Doctor who informed me if I had waited another day, it would've been touch and go as to whether I would've kept the leg or not.

So, this was going through my mind as I was thinking "First time racing this boat, first time ANY of the crew had ever set foot on this boat. We're gonna die". Sure 'nuff, we left the dock and immediately crashed. This boat has 2 centerboards with this contraption to raise and lower them. We left without either down. It's bad news when you do that. We're all yelling trying to get the damned boards down when we SLAM into a dock. We put a nice little hole in the side of the boat. We settled down and got things straight and made it out of the yacht club without any other incident. All in all we did ok. We only had 1 other terrifying moment where things were out of control and we came within the proverbial hair of flipping. But by the end of the 6 races we were getting pretty good at it. To the point where we just need to learn more about tuning the boat to go fast.

I did forget how physical sailing was. I could barely move yesterday morning. It actually hurt for me to sit on the bed. Just sit there. You spend a lot of time throwing your weight around to balance these things. And there are a lot of things to bang into. Crew comfort is secondary on these things. They also look like a 28 ft surfboard on steroids. They were meant for lake sailing. Not salt water with waves. So you feel EVERY wave you hit. After about an hour you can't feel your ass. You DO the next day though.

Easter was great. We spent the day at the Mrs-in-law's. C had a blast finding eggs. She's at the point where she asks a million questions. It's really hard to logically explain how a rabbit became associated with Easter and WHY he has to hide these eggs. I mean, why wouldn't you just give them to them without them having to hunt them down. And why EGGS? What rabbit have you ever seen laying an egg? Trying to give plausible answers that won't cause mass confusion later in life is pretty hard to do. I get pictures of C in class when she's older saying "That's not right! Bunnies lay EGGS!!".

I also had.... other adventures. But this post is too long. I'll write about them later.... Maybe.

I have an opportunity to participate in one of my many hobbies today. Have a good weekend.

Thursday, April 08, 2004

It was an interesting night at pool last night. So far, my theories on the decline in morale on the pool team are narrowing further. I think it was K and the Yoko Ono factor. She wasn't there last night. We had a great time. Nothing really scandalous happened though.

A is still under the weather and wasn't there. B was there. She walked in sat down next to me, leaned into me and said "you wanna see something wild". "Sure" I said. She pulled up the pants leg of her jeans and showed me awful chemical burns all up and down her legs from using Nair. So we started in on her. "You didn't use it anywhere else did you?". "NOooo!!" she said with an obvious blush. "YOU DID!!!" we teased. "I DID NOT!! IT CLEARLY SAID ON THE BOX NOT TO USE IT THERE!!!". Work C ordered fried shrimp from the kitchen. They brought him salsa instead of cocktail sauce. He said "Let me see those legs again". She lifted the jeans. He looked at the salsa, her legs, the waitress and said "I may be better off rubbing the shrimp on her legs that using this stuff!!!" We were all rolling. We kept it up all night. "Get your salsa butt up here and shoot some pool!!!". "I bet I could get some diaper rash cream from the house for that!!". Finally, towards the end of the night, she walked over to me and said "If you had the BALLS, you'd feel my ass and see that I don't have a 'bumpy ass' or 'salsa butt'!!!". Never, ever throw the gauntlet like that to me. So I reached over and grabbed a whole handful. I think she may have liked it.

E showed up about mid-way through the evening. I said "Where the hell have you been?". We haven't seen her in several weeks. She said "I'm really mad at you". WTF? I said "What the hell did I do?". She said "You said if you wanted you could have me and I'd do it". OOooohhh. THAT conversation. I tried to resist... I knew better... I couldn't help myself. I replied "But you know it's true". And so it started again. "You're so bad".... "But you're married".... on and on. Eventually she leaned over and said "You wouldn't do it, but if you walked up and just layed one on me. Grabbed me and took me out of here. You're probably right". I believe yet another gauntlet was thrown. The only problem with that is, my mouth wrote checks I know will bounce.

Next week is the last week of this session. We found out K is moving with her new man to Alabama and won't be back. WoooHOOOooo!! I think everyone breathed a sigh of relief. I'm not sure what it is about her that people dislike. I mean, she's really nice to people. Maybe it's a girl thing. Maybe she's nice to all the guys and is a bitch to all the girls when the guys aren't around. Except none of the guys like her either. It's weird. I've never seen so many guys act like playground bitches. "She's such a slut" and so on when she's so nice to everyone. The thing is, we all know about her background. She's gone through more guys than most people go through toilet paper. She's had 4, count 'em, FOUR! kids and given them all up for adoption. God knows how many STDs. I guess most people can't get past that no matter how nice she is. Then of course there's the whole fucking J, then Work C's brother (ugh) and then on to her new man. I found out last night she would go on and on to the girls about how much she wanted to tear ME up etc. Then she'd be blatant about it in front of everyone. Personally I think it's just funny. Maybe the worst thing was toying with J. He's the one guy I hate to see people dick over. Fuck him then dump him. I wouldn't care about any of the other stuff because it's just amusing to watch. I can't really figure out whether J was hurt by it or not. Like I said, he's a pretty big guy. To the point where it's a turn off for a lot of women. I get the feeling he really wants somebody. I don't know if he thought K was that somebody. Or just a fuck buddy. But he's definitely the only guy I wouldn't want to see fucked over.

How 'bout that? As soon as I hit publish, I got e-mail from A. She's been sick and is out of work in misery right now. We may be able to get together one evening soon. Very exciting.
I'm starting to realize how much every week on this blog are starting to look like each other.

Mon. recap of weekend.
Tues, blah blah
Wed. go on about the prospects of my night out.
Thurs. recap night out.
Fri. blah blah
Maybe blog on weekend if anything interesting happens.

So far this week, NOTHING interesting has happened. No sex. No strife. No angst. No.... anything. At least worthy of the effort of writing.

Things seem to have cooled a bit with A. We chatted via e-mail briefly. There's talk of "breaking in" my new truck. I'm excited at the prospect. It seems like lunch time is about the only time for us to get together though. No times where we can really get together for... more. I miss spending a lot of time making her squirm. I miss tasting her beautiful pussy. I don't know if there are scheduling difficulties or maybe interest is starting to wane a bit. Our "rides" have been extremely hot though. I just hate having to rush so much. Not that I'll turn down an awesome blowjob. We'll see.

I'm back. What a weekend!!

I rode to Florida with my Sister and Brother-in-law. I went to pick up my new truck from my Dad. My Sister and BIL were heading to Miami to take a cruise. I hitched a ride with them down. Let me say those two put the FUN in dysfunctional. I think they actually enjoy fighting. My Sister is the worst back seat driver. My BIL is a Marine Corp F18 pilot. Needless to say, neither one backs down from an argument. I think we may have set a record for traffic jams too. I lost count at 10. I mean, sit for a 1/2 hour type of jams. I had 9 hours of it. I think my Dad thinks I'm an alcoholic because I headed straight for the bar as soon as we walked in the door.

Drove back with new truck Sunday. My Mom is staying with my Sister's kids for the week while they cruise. Mrs. took C down to visit with the family. I stopped on the way back to hang out with them for a bit.

I took C back down yesterday to visit some more and pick up the motorcycle. We were attempting to load it in the back of my old truck when the tailgate suddenly caved. The ramp fell off the gate and the bike came crashing down. Fortunately, the bike landed on the tailgate on it's frame. It only fell about 6 inches. It didn't damage the bike. It was clear the truck couldn't handle a bike of that size though. So I ended up spending $600 for a trailer. Which is just as well. It's always made me nervous as hell loading a bike that big in the back of a truck.

Hopefully the rest of this week will be quiet. I need to relax after my "time off".

Work is finally complete in our office. I'm spending the day shoveling the debris off of my desk and rearranging computers. Have a good weekend all.

Good morning Pluffsters!

Had a decent night out last night. The team did exceptionally well. I don't know what this will do to our standings. My guess is not much. We're so far back I think we'd have to have more nights like this one to advance. We only have 2 more weeks in the session.

The usual crowd was there. Sadly, A had to leave early. She wasn't feeling well.

Generally we had fun with the team we were playing and shooting games with each other. There was one slightly amusing moment. Work C knows B has some kind of crush on him. So he has been completely screwing with her. The bar we were shooting at just opened another room full of pool tables. B was standing in the entrance and Work C was going to the bar to get a soda. B was sort of in the way. Work C walked up to her and got right in her face. I mean close. B gazed up into his eyes and took a step back. Work C stayed right in her face with this big shit eating grin. I swear the girl actually blushed. A few of us were standing around watching this laughing our ass off.

Hey if Work C wants to fuck her it certainly meets my criteria. As in someone else's dick. I don't think he could possibly be serious for 2 reasons. 1) She gets on his nerves as much as anyone else's. I can picture her running her mouth a mile a minute in bed too. 2) Neither one of them could keep their mouths shut. But especially her. She's too childish not to say something.

I will say she was pretty funny last night. Not so much the brat she can be at times.
